This Privacy Policy explains how Merishop ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use merishop.online and related services.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name/email/WhatsApp, login credentials (stored securely), and merchant shop profile (name, phone, UPI, address, branding).
- Store content: products, images, categories, and order records you create.
- Payment data: Razorpay processes card/UPI payments for platform fees. We receive payment confirmation identifiers (order/payment IDs); we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage / analytics: basic technical logs and, where enabled, feature analytics (e.g. WhatsApp Engage click/view events for your shared links). Advertising pixels may collect hashed/aggregated signals for marketing attribution when you consent via site use.
2. How we use information
- Provide and improve storefront, dashboard, and billing services
- Authenticate users and prevent abuse
- Process platform fee payments and support refunds
- Communicate service updates and support replies
- Comply with law and enforce our terms
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with:
- Payment processors (Razorpay) to complete transactions
- Hosting / infrastructure providers needed to run the service
- Authorities when legally required
End-customer data on a merchant storefront is controlled by that merchant for fulfilling orders; merchants must handle that data responsibly.
4. Retention & security
We retain account and order records as needed to operate the service and meet legal/accounting needs. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data; no method of transmission is 100% secure.
5. Your rights / deletion
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your merchant account data. Email us at shubhramishra137@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 81699 41891. We aim to delete or anonymize eligible data within 7 business days, subject to legal retention requirements.
6. Children
The service is intended for business users 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
